On January 18, 2022, The Center for Indigenous and Community-Led Research (CIRCLE) at the University of Victoria hosted a book launch for Settler Memory: The Disavowal of Indigeneity and the Politics of Race in the United States. This was a real honor. The launch was hosted by Dr. Heidi Kiiwetinepinesiik Stark, and had three great respondents, Dr. Christine O’Bonsawin, Dr. Jeff Corntassel, and Dr. Corey Snelgrove. Their comments and questions were generous, sharp, and insightful.
